Released in 1985 designed by Peter Moore is one of the most legendary sneakers and colorways to hit the courts! Although the Chicago colorway was not the first color that Jordan wore on the courts it did end up becoming one of the most iconic colorways of its time and still is today. In fact Jordan only wore three total colorways (Bred, Black Toe, Chicago) while playing compared to the total of fifteen colors out at the time. After 1985 the Jordan 1 didn't see another Chicago colorway till 1994 when Jordan Brand started their Retro Era of sneakers, then not again until 2015 did fans see a true OG retro of the Jordan 1 High Chicago with a 2013 release in between that had changes to the shoe making it not truly an OG Retro.
We're currently awaiting this sneaker while it undergoes extra scrutiny for authenticity! Better pictures are on the way!
